Welcome

Welcome to our site which features our beautiful chalet in the sought after Alpine village of Allemond. The banner photo is the view from the chalet towards Bourg d'Oisans.

The chalet sits in a sunny south-facing hamlet at 1000m altitude nestled beneath the Belledonne mountain range and with a magnificent view towards the Grandes Rousses mountains. We are at the foot of the world famous Tour de France cycling climbs of the Col de la Croix de Fer and the Col du Glandon, 12 kms or so from the foot of Alpe d'Huez (and so perfectly located for the Marmotte cyclosportif) and overlook the Lac du Verney, the start point for the Alpe d'Huez triathlon. The chalet is a perfect location for spring and summer hiking and biking or just soaking up all that this part of the Alps has to offer.

The chalet has 3 double bedrooms and one single bedroom (with a single bed and vintage pine cot). It features a large open plan second floor living and kitchen area with French windows opening onto the balcony with superb south facing view. The two double bedrooms on the first floor also enjoy French windows opening onto a second balcony.

There is ample off road parking in the hamlet, a large secure bike storage area with rack, pump and tools available and a large ground floor storage room for cycling and hiking gear.
